For the second year in a row, the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is opening up its track to the public on Tuesday, April 1, from 11:30 am to 1 pm. The community is invited to walk, bike, roller skate or even push a stroller along the course where the world’s best IndyCar drivers will scream at over 180 mph the following week.. No motorized vehicles allowed; animals are not permitted with the exception of service animals
“This free ‘Grand Prix-View’ is a great opportunity to get some exercise while experiencing up close the race track, which is usually reserved for some of the most elite race car drivers in the world,” Mayor Bob Foster said.
