Want to help make Long Beach the most bike friendly city in the nation? Here’s your chance to get involved: Count bikes to make bikes count! Volunteer for the City’s Third Annual Bicycle Count on Thursday, October 14, or Sunday, October 17.
The City of Long Beach and California State University, Long Beach are seeking 300 volunteers to help conduct bike and pedestrian counts at more than 35 locations throughout Long Beach. Multiple volunteer time slots and count locations are available. High school students (seniors only, please) are welcome to participate with parent permission.
